MENTORS NEEDED

We need mentors for youth in foster care, to make a difference in a child's life!! Here is a request from a 16 year old boy: a male mentor, who can be a support and give good advice, someone good at sports, a good listener, and someone to talk to. Can you be his mentor? Do you have a little extra time to give? He needs you to encourage him to make good decisions!! This is what this 16 year old boy likes: reading, drawing, skateboarding, working on bikes, and clothes shopping. He is open minded, flexible, caring, considerate, kind, good with animals, generous with elderly people. He likes golf, baseball, riding bikes, hanging out and movies. His favorite treat is a homemade blizzard. You can make a huge difference in a young man's life, let's work together to help these children. Click the Mentor Program tab for more information on how to become a mentor.

Washington Children Are Looking for their "Forever" Families too

Have you ever thought of adopting a child but wondered if you were the “right” person? YOU ARE! Maybe you are worried that you don’t make a lot of money? IT DOESN’T TAKE A LOT... Or that you need to own your own home? YOU DON’T! Or perhaps you are a single parent wondering if adoption can work for you? IT CAN! Maybe you live in another state and have been touched by a waiting child?

The Washington State Adoption Council’s 2009
Adoption Information Exchange - The Adoption Information Exchange has been available to share
information about adoption resources with people of Western Washington since 1977.
