She is very outgoing, talkative and articulate who is full of energy and easy to engage with because she loves everything. Marissa likes gymnastics and group activities which help her to build social skills.

Marissa currently has a pink princess room and she really likes this, she is a girlie girl, but loves the outdoors too. She is very eager to participate in new things. She would like to join girl scouts.

The Princess event was again a wonderful day for over 200 little girls. Each little girl that participated felt like a True Princess, with pampering and a Tea Party. She even got to dance with a Prince and a Fairy godmother. To make a little girl feel so special puts a smile on your face. We at A Family for Every Child would like to thank all those that participated in this event; we could not have made this happen without the support of our volunteers and donors. Our corporate sponsor Holiday Inn again donated the space and the food and we want to thank them for their generous gift to make this happen.

Many thanks go to the volunteers who put in many hours of time make this a success. We had over 75 volunteers give of their time, energy and creative talents

We are looking to expand throughout Oregon and we need your help! We need businesses to host displays, volunteers to help with operations and family finding, mentors for foster youth, committed individuals to open additional heart galleries, donations of products and funds and much more. There are many ways to get involved, so please contact us if you'd like to help!

Breathing Space has a place for you! Breathing Space is a unique respite program through A Family for Every Child, allowing individuals in our community to volunteer. Our volunteers are the heart of reaching our children and lending support to the families caring for them long term.
